If you want me to be honest with you, I think I have the most awesome job in the world. Every single week I get to introduce you to a new office dog. These pups are awesome. Today’s special working dog is Annie, from Construction Clean-up Specialists, Inc. I’m sure you’ll enjoy getting to know her just as much as I did!
Napa: What breed are you?
Annie: I am a Silver Miniature Poodle
Napa: Tell me more about working at Construction Clean-up Specialists, Inc.
Annie: I am a very busy girl, and I love coming to work every day here – I cry all day long whenever my Mom leaves me home. I get to socialize with all my friends, both furry and human. I never get to go out on job sites because they won’t let me! So I hold down the fort at our main office and greet everyone who comes in. I often sit in on Employee & Safety Orientations. My moral support keeps everyone cool during super stressful meetings or rough days at the office. There is never a boring moment as long as I am here.
Napa: What is a typical day like in the Construction Clean-up Specialists, Inc office?
Annie: Every day I go to the front door and stretch, waiting on my mom to unlock the door. I immediately go and sniff out the other offices to greet everyone while my mom checks her messages. I then go and find my favorite work toy, an oversized pink bear named Kitty. After all this excitement, it is time for my morning nap. At 11, I eat my peanut butter cookie and go for a run outside. My boss is great, and I have a fenced in yard to explore in so I do that several times a day. I mainly nap and help my Mom.
Napa: Have you ever participated in the clean up process? Did you get your paws dirty?
Annie: I don’t ever clean up, but I love to make a mess. I like to tear up paper and leave it for my office family to clean up. Sometimes, when I get really muddy running around outside with Louie, my Mom puts me in the big sink and washes my paws or underbelly—I hate taking sink baths!
Napa: What’s the number one advice you’d give to someone considering construction or data-center clean up?
Annie: My number one advice is always make sure to wipe your paws before coming inside. Since I work in a cleaning company’s office, they do not let me leave dirty paw prints everywhere.
Napa: Whose desk do you sit under most often?
Annie: My mom’s, or I hang out in my Aunt Liz’s office with Louie.
Napa: When you get bored around the office (in between important in the office tasks), how do you keep busy?
Annie: When I get bored, I make sure everyone in the office knows it! I jump up and down and talk very loudly to alert everyone that I need attention. When I cannot garner the attention of my fellow officemates, I go rouse Louie, my sleeping bestie, out of his bed and demand he play with me. Sometimes he says no.
Napa: What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten around the office (even if you weren’t supposed to)?
Annie: My favorite snack is from my Aunt Sally, a Nekot Peanut-Butter cookie. Aunt Sally splits a pack of these cookies everyday (even though our moms don’t always know it). This is my mid-morning snack that I share with my best friend, Louie.
Napa: What’s your favorite funny dog video? Please share the link!

I love to watch this dog bounce through the field. I wish I could too!
Napa: Where are you from? What’s your favorite trait about the area you live in?
Annie: I’m from north of Atlanta. My work is in Marietta, about 25 minutes north. I love all the greenery! In our backyard, there are rolling hills, and I can run and jump. My favorite is jumping and leaping across anything I can.
Napa: If you could tell your human co-workers anything, what would it be?
Annie: Please throw my squeaky one more time!
Napa: Can you share any advice for other office dogs?
Annie: Melt the delivery man’s heart with kindness, and he will give you a treat when he drops off a package. If you are well-behaved, your pup-parent will bring you to work more.
