Have you ever met an office dog who works at a digital production studio? Meet Barley and Hops, two office dogs who work at Thinkingbox. These four-legged pups are siblings and coworkers! I’m impressed. I’ve heard that sometimes human siblings don’t always get along, so to live together and work together is a totally cool. It just shows how impressive these office dogs are!
Napa: What breed are you?
Barley: Australian Shepherd/Border Collie
Hops: Blue Merle Border Collie
Napa: Tell me more about working at Thinkingbox.
Barley: I love it! There’s lots of space to play with my brother and visit all the people.
Hops: The ping pong game drives me crazy! Don’t they know that ball is mine?
Napa: What is a typical day like in the Thinking Box office?
Barley: First I smell every corner of the floor and all the people in the office. Mom calls that “attendance.” Then I play with Hops until he forfeits.
Hops: I keep a close eye on the ping pong ball, and as soon as it moves – it’s mine!
Napa: Whose desk do you sit under most often?
Barley and Hops: Mom’s – We don’t know why she types frantically and stares at the screen, but if she’s staying here, we are too.
Napa: When you get bored around the office (in between important in the office tasks), how do you keep busy?
Barley: I practice my top notch dog-fighting and tug-o-war skills on my little brother.
Hops: Mom always brings toys and bones to chew on when we’re here!
Napa: What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten around the office (even if you weren’t supposed to)?
Barley: The humans sometimes drop their lunch, and I’m always there to gobble it up
Hops: The garbage usually has some tasty treats buried.
Napa: What’s your favorite funny dog video? Please share the link!
Napa: Where are you from? What’s your favorite trait about the area you live in?
Barley and Hops: Vancouver B.C. – we love the beach and hanging out in the mountains!
Napa: If you could tell your human co-workers anything, what would it be?
Barley: It’s sunny outside! Why are we hanging out in here?
Hops: I need more love!
Napa: Can you share any advice for other office dogs?
Barley: Learn to accept all the strangers coming in and out all day.
Hops: Just chill – the humans like that, and you will get your park time after office time.
Napa: If you could create any digital dog project, what would it be?
Barley: Virtual Reality of a farm where I can herd all the animals.
Hops: A wearable device that displays how many more belly rubs I need to receive that day.
